Abstract
An attempt is made to develop the control logic that can be used in the existing anti-skid and adaptive brake control system. Existing practice reviewed and the relative suitability of various conditions used for the purpose of prediction and reselection is examined. New conditions for predictions and reselection have been proposed and their relative suitability is examined. A compound condition consisting of two simple conditions is found to be satisfactory for the purpose of prediction. For the purpose of reselection another compound condition consisting of three other simple conditions is found to be satisfactory.
