Abstract
In this work, we consider a nonlinear viscoelastic piezoelectric beam in the presence of an infinite memory and a nonlinear frictional damping of general type. We investigate the interaction between the two dampings and establish, under general assumptions on the relaxation function and the nonlinear feedback, an explicit formula for the energy decay rates of this system.
