Abstract
An algorithm is described for fitting measured data to Fourier-series models of any order without recourse to discrete Fourier transform or curve-fitting routines. The implementation of this algorithm requires only simple basic mathematical operations and can be easily implemented in microcomputer- or microprocessor-based real-time systems.
