Abstract
For multilevel inverter topologies, the boosting feature is an important aspect for the application related to the low voltage input obtained from solar PV for high voltage application. The proposed RSC-BI aims for the higher voltage gain with lower device count. The proposed RSC-BI uses eight switches with two capacitors for seven-level (7L) waveform having triple voltage gain. In this paper, a detailed comparison has been included along with the simulation and experimental results. All these results and discussion shows the better performance of the proposed RSC-BI.
