Abstract
A Poiseuille flow over a permeable surface of a hill driven by a uniform pressure gradient is investigated. Analytic solution of the velocity distribution in the channel together with the mass flow rate and the friction factor are obtained using the Beavers and Joseph slip condition at the permeable surface. Numerical results on the behavior of the flow on the hill are given for different values of the slip parameter.
