Abstract

The viscoelastic media would attenuate seismic signal when it propagates through the rock. This would cause high frequency components weak and make low resolution imaging. Researchers usually used a one-parameter control compensation function to compensate the receive data. It is easy used but not convenience to relate to the desired frequency band and amplitude. So, in this paper, we try to derive a two-parameter based operator and build up a directly relationship with frequency spectrum. The new approach could enhance the image resolution and keep an acceptable signal to noise ratio at the same time. This is a generalized method which the conventional function could be seen as a special case of it.
