Abstract
A new current-mode analog circuit configuration that implements the function exp(x-y) is proposed. The circuit uses bipolar junction transistors and resistors and is suitable for integration. Using the proposed circuit, implementation of the functions sinh(x-y) and cosh(x-y) is straightforward. Simulation results are included.
