Abstract
Underwater sensor networks have been emerging an extraordinary concern of the scholarly world in term of various aspect of life like monitoring of oil gas, pollution, and tsunami, ocean surveillance for defense strategies, seismic monitoring, equipment monitoring etc. The sensor node consumes more energy and load distribution suffer from imbalance at long distance. In this paper, we present a Balanced Energy Efficient (BEE) algorithm to diminish the consumption of energy among different nodes of network. The BEE forms a model for the consumption of energy in view of residual energy to choose the ideal next-hop sensor node for processing of data to destination node. In this scheme, the numbers of nodes are uniformly positioned in a network field and the destination sink node is positioned at the top of water. This technique is appropriate for both networks like dynamic and static. The anticipated scheme aims to balance the energy distribution between different nodes of network field to extend the effort time of nodes associating with present techniques. Simulation results of the anticipated technique are done to demonstrate the adequacy of BEE, which achieves superior results than the illustrative techniques in view of energy consumption.
