Project Details

Description

The objective of this project is to develop a new IoT node architecture that is secured against new threats resulting from new use cases. The new architecture should maintain SW compatibility with existing architectures (i.e. no modification of existing instruction sets) to capitalize on existing SW infrastructure (e.g. communication stack). The project would involve developing an infrastructure for establishing a HW root-of-trust with typical parties/roles involved in modern HW supply-chains, architectural add-ons to existing IoT platforms, security analysis of the proposed infrastructure/add-ons and evaluation of their impact on area (cost)/performance
