We investigate in this project the quantum transport of electrons in mesoscopic systems in the presence of bound states. The answer to a time-dependent excitation will be considered. The system is simulated using tight-binding technics on a discretized 2D lattice. The time-dependent Schrodinger equation needs to be solved in order to calculate the current induced by the excitation.
