Project Details
Description
ARGAS and CGG focus their research in ultra-high acquisition channel counts in land, marine and shallow water, that will bring to the Oil & Gas industry the high definition geophysics necessary to better characterize the reservoir and enhance the recovery of oil: one of the most important challenge of our customers. And in the context of high density acquisition, it is necessary to deploy and retrieve a very high number of sensors in the field. Currently, this process is handled by a large group of personnel on the field, either by hand or using heavy or portable specialized machinery. This is a time consuming process which could also lead to problems like inaccurate sensor placement during deployment, damage to sensors during deployment and HSE risks.
