Description
Utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Deep Learning (DL) in engineering and sciences applications has grown significantly in recent years as they are the core engine behi...ind the success of a Smart City. The aim of the Smart City Mission is to spur economic growth and enhance people's quality of life by offering extra features and enabling the city environment to adaptively design itself in response to data and information acquired and leveraging technology, particularly technology that leads to Smart results. Intelligent Decision Support Systems, or IDSS, have lately gained in relevance in such a scenario as a means of achieving this goal. IDSS can play a crucial role in embedding these technologies into Government as well as Private Institutions and it is a suitable platform for supporting decision making processes in determining the readiness to implement the Smart City by offering best and optimized mobility and logistics as well as polices for such technologies, for example Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and Electric Vehicles (EVs) are increasingly being used in Smart City concepts as they are suitable to monitor and perform services for healthcare, mobility, supply of goods, and security. They contribute to the development of a city's critical infrastructure. This project will design and evaluate key applications of IDSS, AI and DL in Smart City layer, such as using IDSS for monitoring UAVs for delivering blood and organs. In addition, some classical/traditional approaches to identify the mechanism behind the transportation in healthcare systems, for example the movement of ambulances in Smart City, can also benefit a lot from IDSS-AI assistance. Furthermore, deep reinforcement learning and Neurosymbolic AI could be used to solve complex optimization problems in smart systems for healthcare. Therefore, we will investigate the implications of such applications.
