Entrepreneurial Intention in developed and developing economies: A Meta-Analysis Study

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

Creating new ventures has been considered one of the significant sources to accelerate the wheel of employment, economic growth, and innovation as well as promote the quality of products and services offered, and boost the economical flexibility of societies (Hisrich et al., 2007). The concept behind creating new venture is entrepreneurship that is defined as the process of recognising and pursuing opportunities with regard to alienable and inalienable resources currently controlled with a view to value creation (Chell, 2007; p. 18). Since entrepreneurship activities can contribute to job creation, diversity of choice, wealth, and personal development (Mortan et al., 2014), it is essential to understand what mostly drives or inhibits individuals from creating business start-ups. Also, there is a growing interest to show how individuals perceptions from developed and developing countries are differently shaped by educational, regional, family, environmental, and psychological factors towards self-employment
