Critical Behavior in CrSnX3 Van der Waals Ferromagnetic Materials

In this we propose to investigate the critical behavior in CrSnX3- Chalcogens van der Waal ferromagnetic materials. These materials grow in 1, 2 and 3-dimaensional structure, hence providing the chance to investigate various magnetic and transport properties in reduced dimensional systems. Transport and magnetic measurement such as ac-susceptibility and magnetic isotherms will be performed on these materials in order to investigate the phase transitions and obtain the phase diagram for the investigated materials. The activation energy will be investigated using our modified ac-susceptibility setup
