Description

This project aims at developing new methods and approaches for enhancing the future communication network. In addition, we are going to develop a new architecture that integrates software defined network (SDN), network functionality virtualization (NFV) and fog network; this new architecture will help in supporting real-time mobile devices/applications (e.g. augmented reality, smart cities and healthcare). We expect to submit several patents and publish several publications in reputable journals and conferences. The range of applications that can benefit from our proposed solution is huge; it includes all applications where sensors/devices generate data, including video, that need to be processed/analyzed.
