Research interests

Research experience in the field of Superhydrophobic multifunctional (solvent and water-based Polyurethane) films/coatings, having completed my PhD focused on this specialized area. My research encompassed the development, testing, and optimization of advanced coatings designed for protective applications. I have extensive experience with a range of techniques, including electrochemical analysis, material characterization (FTIR, GPC, DLS, TEM, SEM, XRD, XPS, EDX, EIS, TGA/DSC/DTG, NMR, contact angle measurement), and Environmental Testing (Chemical (Hydrostatic head pressure) and mechanical (Scratch Hardness, Crosshatch Adhesion, Gloss Values, Thickness, Impact Resistance, Bending to assess the effectiveness and durability of protective coatings). My work has contributed to the advancement of sustainable and high-performance solutions for anti-corrosive, antimicrobial, and flame-retardant materials, and I have published several peer-reviewed papers on innovative coating technologies and their real-world applications. Future directions include smart responsive surfaces, durable multifunctional materials, and scalable strategies for sustainable coating technologies.
