I am a Geologist, at present I am a Post-Doctoral fellow at the Center for Environment and Marine Studies, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. My research contributes to the transport of plastics (microplastics and marine litter) in aquatic environments in order to understand the sources, transport pathways, and associated ecological risks in the Gulf Region. I have achieved significant knowledge and experience in the fields of Marine Geology, Oceanography, Late Quaternary, Geochemistry, Hydrogeology, Sedimentology, Environmental Geology. I have also published about 20 research articles in various national and international peer-reviewed journals in the areas of environmental pollution and marine studies.
