Dr. Mohamed Abdrabou Hussein works at the Interdisciplinary Research Center for Advanced Materials (IRC-AM) and is an affiliate of the Mechanical Engineering Department at KFUPM. He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (Materials & Manufacturing) from KFUPM in 2015. Hussein has over 15 years of experience in interdisciplinary research and a proven track record of securing and managing funded research as PI (6 projects) and CO-I (7 projects), resulting in +52 journal papers, 7 issued US patents, and 8 pending, Book chapters, and several presentations at international conferences. Recognized for outstanding research and innovation and was honored with the KFUPM Excellence in Research Award in 2023 and the Patent Award in 2017,2023, and 2024. In addition to teaching & academic experience since 2005 at Tanta University, KFS University, and KFUPM.
