Research interests
My research and professional interests focus on, but are not limited to, the following areas: Power System Protection and Control, Grid Stability and Power Quality, Smart Grids, Renewable Energy Integration, and Advanced Simulation-Based Modeling. I am particularly interested in the application of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques, multi-objective optimization, and advanced computational tools for modern power and energy systems.
In addition, my research strongly emphasizes sustainable mobility and transportation electrification, including Electric Vehicle (EV) technologies, Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) systems, smart charging strategies, bidirectional power flow, grid–EV interaction, charging infrastructure planning, and energy management for integrated mobility-energy systems. I am also interested in the development of intelligent energy management frameworks that enhance grid resilience, optimize EV fleet operations, and support the transition toward low-carbon and smart transportation networks.

- Awarded the President’s Honorary Award, University of the Ryukyus, for outstanding performance in the Doctor of Engineering Program, which is the university’s highest recognition for a graduate student. Distinguished by publishing 11 high-impact journal papers in prestigious platforms such as Elsevier and IEEE, showcasing cutting-edge research during his Ph.D.
- Received recognition for developing innovative real-time management systems for microgrids and autonomous energy systems, combining theoretical research and practical applications.
- Awarded the Zagazig University Award for International Publications in 2021, 2022, and 2023 for significant contributions to globally recognized research.
