Personal profile
Personal profile
I hail from Thana Malakand, located in the north-western region of KPK province, Pakistan, and hold a Ph.D. degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), China. I have authored and co-authored 68 SCI publications to date. My research mainly focuses on ground improvement by deploying AI techniques (ANN and GP-based approaches, among others). I explore the sustainable use of agro-industrial wastes in expansive clays and novel biopolymers in sandy granitic soils. In addition, my endeavors also extend to the pursuit of sustainability in civil engineering practices. Presently, I serve as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Interdisciplinary Research Center for Construction & Building Materials (IRC-CBM), King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM).
