Dr. Amna is a plant biotechnologist and plant–soil ecologist with research experience in sustainable agriculture, plant–microbe interactions, phytoremediation, and environmental stress biology. She is currently working on remediation of hydrocarbon-contaminated saline soils and sustainable environmental solutions.

Dr. Amna is a plant biotechnologist and plant–soil ecologist currently working as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia. Her research focuses on plant–microbe interactions, phytoremediation, sustainable agriculture, and environmental remediation. She previously worked at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (USA) and has expertise in metabolomics, proteomics, and soil chemistry. She is a recipient of the Young Researcher Award (2021), a full member of OWSD (UNESCO-supported), and serves as a reviewer for MDPI journals and Springer Nature.
